Minthis Hills is designed to be at one with nature. An environmentally friendly, sustainable resort, committed to protecting and enhancing the landscape for future generations. Featuring solar panels for water heating and advanced, self-ventilation systems, each villa is completely energy efficient. Where possible, existing trees have been preserved and many thousands of indigenous plants have been planted to conserve the land, while rainwater and grey water will be recycled to irrigate the gardens and the resort.

Cyprus enjoys a perfect Mediterranean climate, basking in over 330 days of sunshine a year. Long, dry summers and mild winters are separated by short autumn and spring seasons. Summer is a time of high temperatures and cloudless skies, with sea breezes cooling the coastal areas. Winter brings some snow on the Troodos mountains, while the rain mostly falls from November through to February at sea level.
